So the faculty and staff have reminded us within our classes that all glory does go to God and that he is our number one priority. But another thing that they do is I've had a teacher say that, "Here's what I'm teaching you, but this is my ultimate truth and it's the gospel. This is what I base my life off of is the gospel." What we learn is going to further us in our professional careers, but the number one truth and the number one priority in this world is the word of God.
At Tabor, there's so many opportunities to build your faith to go grow closer to Christ. There's Bible study opportunities for both men and women. In mixed Bible studies, there's a ministry of, "Share, Prayer, and Dare," which is a Wednesday night worship ministry. There's mentoring programs.
So my faith is super important to me. I feel like one of my goals is just to be a disciple of Jesus making disciples. Taylor does a really good job of like equipping people to do that, just through the way that they value relationships and value Jesus and just readying us for our careers. And just to serve the Lord humbly.
Sometimes when you are pursuing your faith, it can be lonely, it can be scary, but when you have people beside you to lift you up and encourage you, that is so so helpful, and I've created friends that I know are going to last a lifetime here, and that they're going to continue pushing me to pursue my walk with Christ. And I'm just creating a foundation here that's going to remain when I grow older.
