Masters in Business Administration (MBA)

Some unique qualities of the MBA program. First, you got to talk about the faith aspect here at Tabor College. Having that lends to a Christian worldview makes it very unique.

It is made up of several classes, and each class is eight weeks long. That is helpful since you have the capacity to focus in one class at a time. In my personal case, it's helpful because I'm pursuing a career in accounting. So the MBA provides a variety of classes that will help me in my career.

Another aspect of the program that is different, it's online, completely online. It's nice to have the flexibility as a young adult trying to start a family, especially if you're all the way across the country, and you don't have to be there in person and you have a full time job. It just helps with that.

At the time that I enrolled in the MBA program at Tabor college was kind of having a personal searching and a vocational career type searching in my own life. And this program and even the capstone project has been beneficial in a high degree of self awareness and understanding where God has uniquely wired me and the skills and abilities and gifts that he's put in me to then take out into the marketplace. And use that intersection of the marketplace, and of ministry together, in the corporate world, and even in the nonprofit world, and in the education world. The possibilities are endless.

I haven't had a single Professor where I'm like, it's insane, like their resumes are just impressive. They are able to bring real life scenarios, and can answer questions from their perspective, and that really helps you be prepared for the real world.
